I am very proud to be the Principal of The Palmetto School Tigers! Our mission goes beyond just words as my staff and I strive to provide optimal resources to all of our students each day. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Spanish, from Clark Atlanta University. I received my Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. For more than 20 years of my educational career, my skills and experiences have included bilingual/dual language instruction, district curriculum writing, standard setting for academic state testing, data studies, EdTech implementation, and advocating for at-risk youth consistently. I have worked at the public and charter school level as an instructor, Assistant Principal, and Principal.
I was born in Greenville, TX and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. In my spare time, I love watching my Dallas Cowboys, spending time with my family, traveling, and singing. I firmly believe that a purposeful school leader must wholeheartedly believe in the success of each student while placing the most qualified personnel in place to carry out the mission and vision. We strive to attain this each day at The Palmetto School!
